Our first concern is to secure a copy of your data to the fullest extent possible; this can be achieved by performing a low-level read of your tape. We will then work from a secure copy of your data, (held on our main storage servers, then copied over to an individual workstation), to identify the format and determine what utility will be needed to complete the recovery.
